Michael began working at the Law Offices of Harold D. Carr in 2005 as a legal assistant and working with the technology at the firm.  After learning the ropes at the firm and seeing the way that they help people, he decided to go to law school in 2008.. Michael graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 2011 with his law degree and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution, then returned to the Law Offices of Harold D. Carr.  Michael now serves in his new role as a litigation lawyer who represents injured people to secure recovery from the insurance industry.

Harold D. Carr was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1981. He is an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice, and also an elected representative on the Board of Governors.  He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, Thurston County Bar Association, Pierce County Bar Association, and is admitted to the Federal District Court for Western Washington.. Prior to establishing the Law Offices of Harold D. Carr, P.S. in 1989, Mr. Carr actively practiced in law firms in King County, Pierce County, and Thurston County.  He obtained a Juris Doctor degree from University of Kansas School of Law in 1981 and his undergraduate B.S and graduate Masters degree from Kansas State University in 1977 and 1978, respectively.. He devotes his law practice to obtaining just and fair compensation from insurance companies for those individuals injured as a result of negligence in cases primarily involving motor vehicle accidents. He has served as a mediator on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel and as an arbitrator on numerous UIM panels.. Mr. Carr is actively involved in the community and has served as President of the Lacey Lamplighter Lions for three terms and as chairperson for several Lion's committees.. He is married to Dorrie Carr, retired former personal assistant for the past 16 years to the Commander of Madigan Army Medical Center, Ft. Lewis. They have three daughters and one son.

Eric Shelton began working for his father’s law firm, Stuart E. Shelton Injury Law, PLLC, in 2015 after defending insurance companies in IFCA, CPA, and bad faith disputes for a large Seattle law firm.  At his previous position he also represented at-fault drivers and their employers in auto trauma cases and physicians in medical malpractice/wrongful death matters and proceedings before state disciplinary commissions.  Prior to representing civil defendants, Mr. Shelton worked as a King County Prosecutor.  In his work as a prosecutor, Mr. Shelton appeared in court on a daily basis and handled over 50 trial assignments, taking 12 cases to verdict.  Mr. Shelton is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice and a Washington State, Pierce County, and Thurston County bar member.  He grew up in Olympia, attending Capital High School, and now lives with his wife and two boys in Tacoma near the University of Puget Sound.
