She also volunteered at Barry’s Immigration Clinic as an interpreter. Ms. Quinonez, while completing her last year of Law School, had the opportunity to serve as a judicial intern in the Felony Criminal Court. She conducted extensive research and drafted numerous orders and other court documents. She was able to gain valuable trial and courtroom experience.. After law school, Ms. Quinonez became a licensed Florida Bar member. Nanette Cruz was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Nanette attended the University of Central Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. A few years after graduating from UCF, Nanette worked as a litigation paralegal prior to attending law school. Nanette attended Florida A&M University College of Law and graduated cum laude with a Juris a student at FAMU, Nanette was involved with the Student Bar Association, the Hispanic American Law Student Association and was inducted to FAMU’s Law Review. Nanette was also awarded the Dean’s Top Performer Scholarship and was on the Dean’s List. After graduating from law school and admission to the Florida Bar, Nanette began practicing Personal Injury, Probate and Social Security Disability Claims and Federal Appeals. In 2016, Nanette was offered a partnership position at The Michael Reese Law Firm to continue her efforts of representing individuals who need disability benefits. Nanette also served as a Guardian ad Litem for the Orange County Legal Aid Society representing children in need and as an attorney advisor for Orange County Teen Court. In addition to practicing law, Nanette is very active in her community and church. Nanette was the Kindergarten Director at Whole Life Church from 2008-2019. Nanette served as a board member at Orlando Junior Academy, the school where one of her two daughters attended through 2018.  Nanette also served in the Executive Committee and the Association Board of Trustees for the Florida Conference of Seventh Day Adventists for 6 years.  Nanette currently serves as a member of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee for the Florida Conference of Seventh Day Adventists.

NANCY PICO CAMPIGLIA has been defending licensees before the respective Florida regulatory agencies for approximately 12 years.  Prior to entering private practice, she served as General Counsel of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation (the “DBPR”), which licenses and regulates nearly a million Florida businesses and professionals.  There, she managed the legal affairs of the agency, providing representation for approximately 28 regulated businesses and professions, including real estate licensees, appraisers, veterinarians, accountants, contractors, cosmetologists, community association managers, alcoholic beverage and tobacco establishments, and hotels and restaurants.  She is a former chief prosecutor for the Florida Real Estate Commission (“FREC”) and the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board (“FREAB”), and a frequent lecturer on real estate licensing related matters.. While with the Department, she acted as legal counsel to the Governor's Task Force on Homeowner Associations.  In addition to serving as Acting Director of the Division of Real Estate, she headed its prosecution team.. Prior to attending law school, Nancy was a real estate broker and owner of a real estate brokerage in Miami.  Florida Jurisprudence has designated her publication, Florida Real Estate License Law:  Who is Protecting the Public, as a practice aid for several consecutive years.. Nancy prides herself in giving back to the community.  She documented a condominium complex for Habitat for Humanity, is a past president of the Christian Service Center, former director of the Central Florida Real Estate Council and of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.  She is a frequent lecturer at Realtor Associations and related organizations.. Nancy holds a Masters in Law in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law (LLM 1999).  She received the degree of Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law (J.D., 1998), where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and a dedicated member of the Human Rights Institute, where she assisted in the development, research and processing of asylum cases and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals.  Nancy received a B.A. degree from the Florida State University (1976).  She is admitted to practice before The Florida Bar, and Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.. Nancy was a shareholder with a national law firm that boasts more than 500 attorneys and 19 offices throughout the nation.  Notable client work includes the creation of complex residential and commercial condominiums, property owners and mixed associations, commercial and residential development, complex timeshare matters and general real estate transactions.. Currently, her immigration practice focuses on entrepreneur visas and related appeals.  She concentrates on the EB5 and E2 Visas.
