Brooks was born and raised in Arizona as the second oldest of 6 children. Although he lived in Nevada and Washington for a time, he has always called Arizona his home. Prior to law school, Brooks owned and operated a small pest control business in the East Valley.. Brooks received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. He graduated cum laude from Gonzaga School of Law in Spokane, WA, where he was an editor for the Gonzaga Law Review..
