I serve on the executive board of the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice. I have served on its governing board for many years, in addition to serving on the legislative and amicus committees. I am a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Women's White Collar Defense Association. I have been named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star consecutively since 2016.I am admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona, State of Colorado (inactive), the Federal District Court for the District of Arizona, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Nick Verderame was born in Phoenix.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in 2008, with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in Sports, Commerce and Culture.  After working for CBS Network News and ESPN, he graduated from law school with his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona in 2013.  After working for two of the United States’ largest law firms, Nick came to Platter Verderame, P.C. in 2016 to represent individuals who are injured and need assistance in their pursuit of justice and just compensation.. Nick is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.  His practice focus is wrongful death, personal injury, and medical malpractice, and he has published articles on the topic of sports-related concussions for publication nationally.. In addition to helping clients, Nick serves as the President of EchelonPHX, the young professional arm of The Salvation Army, and as the Vice President of the Phoenix 20-30 Club, a subsidiary of the Children In Need Foundation.

Neal is an equity partner who has been helping individuals and businesses manage their legal risks for over two decades.  Over that time, he has represented a significant number of companies based or doing business in Arizona. Neal's practice includes resolving and litigating all manner of contract-based disputes from debtor/creditor issues to disputes between owners/shareholders to employment, real estate and construction related matters.  Neal also negotiates and drafts all manner of contracts and agreements.  In every representation his goal is to complete the scope of work required in the most expedient and economical manner possible, with a goal to meet or exceed his clients’ expectations.
