I graduated in 1997 from Gonzaga School of Law, where I served as an Associate Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review.  My practice includes civil litigation and criminal defense. After growing up in New Hampshire, I attended college in Montreal and graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2012. Never one to settle down for too long, I have lived in five states, the District of Columbia, and three other countries. For the time being, though, I feel immensely lucky to call Port Townsend my home.While I absolutely love to argue in (and out of) court, I am most passionate about working with clients. A lawyer has to be able to explain the legal system, to understand a client's goals, and to approach each problem with the client's interests at the forefront. This is a service industry, and I am proud of my ability to connect with the people I serve.My first love is criminal defense, but I am also available to help people with family law and landlord-tenant issues.
