While at the University of South Dakota, I spent my time participating on the Moot Court Board, Trial Team, writing for different publications, and working as a Graduate Assistant. I also clerked during law school at the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Iowa in Sioux City, Iowa, as well as the Environmental Law and Policy Center in Chicago, Illinois.. After graduating law school, I decided to head west to launch my career here in Portland, with an emphasis in family law. I was born and raised in Colorado, and received a Bachelors Degree in History with minors in Political Science and Legal Studies at Colorado State University.  After graduation I moved to Oregon to pursue my life long dream of becoming an attorney.
