Wendy lives in Portland with her husband and cats.  Originally from Maryland, Wendy learned to fly, sail, crab, and cook black-eyed peas at a young age.  Wendy enjoys attempting to tame her garden, learning something new, attending theater, pretending to know about wine, and finding the humor in tough situations.

Shane’s experience and practice touches nearly all aspects of transactional real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, construction, development, financing, leasing, property management, and environmental liability and remediation. He represents various clients in their roles as owners, developers, purchasers, sellers, investors, landlords, tenants, property managers, architects, contractors, lenders, and borrowers. He regularly advises and counsels clients on the potential risks, exposure, and benefits of commercial real estate transactions.. Shane was named a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2016 and was also accepted into NAIOP SoCal’s Young Professionals Group for the Class of 2016-17.. Shane is active in the community and serves as the Chair of the Associate Board for Shelter Partnership, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to alleviating, preventing, and ending homelessness in Los Angeles County. I joined Zimmer Family Law in May of 2016. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. In 2015, I received concurrent Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD.. While at the University of South Dakota, I spent my time participating on the Moot Court Board, Trial Team, writing for different publications, and working as a Graduate Assistant. I also clerked during law school at the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Iowa in Sioux City, Iowa, as well as the Environmental Law and Policy Center in Chicago, Illinois.. After graduating law school, I decided to head west to launch my career here in Portland, with an emphasis in family law. I understand that many clients are going through a very challenging time and I will provide trustworthy, compassionate, and hardworking counsel. I will treat all issues with the same determination and work hard to ensure the best possible outcome for my clients.. My personal interests include live music, heading to the movies, participating in local trivia nights, and spending time with friends and family, including my mischievous cat, Duke. I am also a film and tv buff and when I moved out to Portland I appeared as an extra in both Portlandia and NBC's Grimm!
