I was born and raised in Ellensburg, WA. I attended Ellensburg High School and am an alumna from Central Washington University. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Law and Justice Major and a Prelaw/Paralegal Minor. While attending CWU, I held an internship with Volunteer Legal Services. I was employed with the Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office for 12 years, where I received my tutorship for the Law Clerk Program provided through the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA). I was admitted to the WSBA in 2011. I served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for approximately 4 years and a Legal Intern for 3 years. I began my criminal defense practice in May of 2015. I am motivated and ambitious and enjoy serving the legal needs of my clients.
I began my legal career defending adults and juveniles in Douglas and Chelan Counties prior to becoming a Prosecuting Attorney in Kittitas County. After about three years as a Deputy Prosecuting attorney, I realized that I was a defense attorney at heart and I opened my own firm.. In addition to criminal defense, I handle civil matters, including matters involving general litigation, employment and immigration.
