I am a California State Bar Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law, the only one in Redwood City as of 6/24/14.  I have been practicing this law for 30 years.  I am also on the Labor Commitee of the California Applicant's Attorney's Association, the organization for California Workers' Compensation Atttornies.  I have published articles in CAAMents, the CAAA house magazine, getMedlegal Magazine and many other publications over time.. Before becoming a lawyer, I worked for the AFL-CIO for 10 years in a variety of capacities organizing the Frontlash voter registration project from the San Francisco Labor Council, union and political organizer, a stint on the Hubert Humphrey campaign for President and running a project to promote traning programs and job placement for the disadvantaged.. I started my law practice in San Francisco in 1984 and moved it to Redwood City in 1996.. For relaxation, I perform on the guitar and vocals at the San Gregorio Store and other venues and I surf.
