Mr. Figueroa has a passion for criminal defense because his father and uncle were incarcerated for a quarter of their lives before their deaths for drug and violent offenses. Further, Mr. Figueroa’s mother brought him to Church to recover from this familial tragedy. This also sparked his passion to be apart of the Church and trust in Jesus Christ. Due to the impact incarceration and Christ had on his life, Mr. Figueroa decided to pursue criminal defense and protect the rights of people who do not have a voice..
