Elizabeth has almost fifteen years of litigation experience and is responsible for the firm’s Nevada litigation matters, including general civil litigation, probate and trust litigation, and family law.  Elizabeth is also responsible for the firm’s appellate practice and is experienced both in civil and criminal appeals from both sides of the bench.. Prior to joining Blanchard Krasner and French, Elizabeth served as a Staff Attorney at the Nevada Supreme Court for more than six years. She interacted with the Supreme Court Justices regarding a wide-range of civil and criminal legal issues before the Court, particularly in the areas of civil procedure, torts, contracts, criminal and real property. This experience exposed her to the behind the bench workings of the Nevada Supreme Court, and Elizabeth has an in-depth knowledge of the procedures of the Court and the standards that apply to appeals, extraordinary writ petitions, and petitions for review. Prior to working at the Court, Elizabeth litigated numerous cases with a private law firm for eight years, representing individuals and business in all phases of litigation. Elizabeth also practiced at an appellate specialty law firm in California, drafting appeals and extraordinary writ petitions for law firms and individual clients.

David practices primarily in the areas of corporate law and business transactions. David enjoys working with budding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and non-profit executives.  Through Fennemore Craig's new Venture Accelerator Program, David assists entrepreneurs from formation to the day you get to sell your business.. David earned his law degree from Gonzaga University, where he also earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship. While in law school David worked at SIRTI (now InnovateWashington), a technology based business accelerator/incubator, which mentors start-up companies and assists in accessing capital from Angel Investors or Venture Capital companies. David received his B.B.A. in Business Economics from the University of San Diego.. David was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. He attended Reno High School and recently married his high school sweetheart. In his free time, David loves to fly fish and spend time with his "Little Brother" from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.

David O'Mara is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, and McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in Sacramento.  David has been a law clerk at the Washoe County District Court and the United States Court of Federal Claims.. David is the fourth child of nine children.  He is married to Courtney Miller O'Mara and they have three children.. David has been with The O'Mara Law Firm, P.C. since its inception in 2006.. David has handled a number of cases that have established Nevada law and protected Nevada Citizens.  David's first case in private practice was a case that protected his client against her former attorney.  The Nevada Supreme Court found that the client's exempt assets (retirement funds) could not be taken by her previous attorney.. David has aggressively defended his clients when they were improperly arrested.  In a prior case, the charges against David's client were dismissed because the police did not have probable cause to pull over the client.. Child Custody cases are extremely difficult.  David accepts Nevada Law that the children are better served if the child(ren) get eqaul access and time to their parents (unless there are extraneous circumstances).. Cecilia Lee began the practice of law in 1986 in Portland, Oregon as an appellate lawyer with the law firm of Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt. Committed to written and oral advocacy, Cecilia translated the skills she acquired as an appellate lawyer to the practice of bankruptcy and commercial law in Reno, Nevada starting in 1988. Since beginning her practice in Reno, Cecilia has had a long history of success for a diverse client base, including businesses, financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities and individuals. Cecilia graduated in the top 15 percent of her class at Willamette in 1986, receiving High Papers in Ethics, Products Liability and Land Use Planning. She served as an Associate Editor of the Willamette Law Review for two years and began arguing cases while in law school to the federal and state courts in Oregon.. Cecilia is AV Peer Review rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the state and federal courts in Nevada and Oregon. An emeritus master of the Bruce R. Thompson Inn of Court, Cecilia has served as a past-president of the Inns of Court. She volunteers for the State Bar of Nevada, having served primarily on the Lawyer Referral and Service Committee, first as a member and then as the chair of that committee. Cecilia also was a past-president of PackPAWS, the University of Nevada’s organization to promote and advance women in sports and to monitor Title IX issues.. In 2012, Willamette University College of Law invited Cecilia to sit on its Board of Visitors. In the 2014-2015 school year, Cecilia joined Willamette’s law faculty as an adjunct professor of Debtor/Creditor and Restructuring law. Cecilia has served on American Bankruptcy Institute’s award-winning Committee on Consumer Bankruptcy Law since 2014 and as the ListServe Facilitator and as Newsletter Editor. In addition, Cecilia publishes and lectures on various aspects of business and bankruptcy law.. Cecilia is a member of Silver State Striders and a marathon runner. Before attending law school, Cecilia studied the cello with Orlando Cole of the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. She is currently a member of the Susanville Symphony Orchestra.
