Like many of my clients, I am a small business owner. I understand the challenges, pitfalls, and joys of being the owner of a business.  I have over 12 years of experience in commercial litigation, bankruptcy and criminal law, as well as real estate matters, e.g.  foreclosures, landlord/tenant. I am adept at identifying solutions for client issues and negotiating resolutions with problem solving and communication skills. On many occasions, I have been able to better position clients to achieve desired results through dispute resolution techniques, whether by settlement, motion practice or trial.. I am an Eagle Scout and enjoy helping charitable organizations.  I also enjoy spending free time with my family and friends.

I am a partner in the litigation practice group at Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC, which has offices in Detroit, Chicago, Las Vegas, Peoria and Ann Arbor.  I am also a commissioned officer and attorney in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG), where I am currently assigned to Army Special Forces Command.  I previously served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Oakland County Prosecututor's Office, where I served as lead trial counsel on dozens of jury and bench trials and attained convictions in the great majority.

I am my clients' advocate from the boardroom to the courtroom.  I have extensive experience in contract work, having transacted a broad range of business affairs and litigated contractual issues in both state and federal courts.
