He has written and testified in favor of legislation that Missouri has adopted to help consumers protect themselves better when they go into bankruptcy.  He serves on local rules committees regularly.  And he is currently the Eastern District of Missouri State Chair for the National Assoc. of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.. He is married to Rebecca, who works with him.  They have a canine child named Romeo.  Yes, they are "dog people."
