I moved to St. Louis from North Carolina in 1994 to attend law school at St. Louis University. My career began in 1997 as an Assistant Attorney General in the Labor Division of the Missouri Attorney General's office, and then briefly as staff counsel for large insurance company. In 2001, I was presented with the opportunity to enter private practice, which I have enjoyed for the last 19 years. My law partner retired in 2014, and since that time, I have been a sole practitioner. I am licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.. Outside of my practice, I have served on three school boards: the founding board of Carondelet Leadership Academy, St. Roch School, and I currently serve Rosati Kain High School.. I have volunteered as an elections judge, and have placed my name with the Missouri Secretary of State's office to provide free notary services for mail-in ballots.. I am a huge fan and supporter of St. Cecilia Parish and School, New Dimensions Soccer, St. Joseph Housing Initiative, Access Academies, and Gateway 180.. I have been married to my charming husband Jesus for the past 23 years, and we have three beautiful and talented children, Bianca, 20, Jesus, 18, and Miguel, 16.
