I chose my practice because I want to use my knowledge to ensure that all people are treated equally and with dignity. I specialized in civil rights law for eleven years as a staff attorney for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, where I worked on thousands of civil rights cases. I also regulary dealt with all aspects of employment discrimination law and the constitutional rights of criminal defendants. I started the Caviness Law Firm in 2018 because I believe that I, together with my clients, can make a difference in St. Louis and because I wanted to get off the sideline and into the fight for equal treatment and the preservation of our constitutional rights. I look forward to working on your behalf.. Free consultations. Sliding scale available for those unable to afford my hourly rate.. The choice of lawyer is an important one and should not be based solely on advertising.
