R. Leigh Frost has maintained her own practice in Saint Paul litigating cases that involve all matters related to marital dissolution since March 2004. Her practice includes, but is not limited to marital dissolution, the establishment and modification of child support, civil contempt for non-payment of child support, establishment of paternity, step-parent adoptions, and post-decree custody, parenting time and spousal maintenance modification. She also represents unemancipated, pregnant teenagers at parental notification hearings in Ramsey County.. Ms. Frost initially pursued her undergraduate degree at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in women’s studies at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. In 2000, she received a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law and was admitted to the Minnesota bar.. She has served as Co-Chair on the Membership Committee of the Ramsey County Bar Association, on the Board of Directors for the Ramsey County Bar Association through June of 2008, and a Co-Chair of the Family Law section and New Lawyer section. She has been and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and Ramsey County Bar Association since 2000, she is a current and active member of the Douglas K. Amdahl Inns of Court. She volunteered on the John Choi for Ramsey County Attorney campaign in 2010 and since 2011 she is a volunteer with Project 515 serving on the communications committee and speakers bureau.
