Originally from Salem, Indiana, my husband and I moved to Wisconsin in 2000 where I obtained my law degree from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee in 2003.  Admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in May of 2003, I practiced law in Wisconsin until 2009 when I returned home to Indiana.  While in Wisconsin I handled complex litigation matters including fire/explosion cases and auto liability issues.  Upon returning to my hometown, and obtaining my license to practice law in Indiana in 2009, I have gained experience in many areas of the law including divorce, child custody, guardianship, bankruptcy and criminal defense, plus many more.. I opened my own law firm, Hunt Rippey Law, located in Salem, Indiana with attorney Johanna D. My husband Chris and I have two young boys and live on our "hobby" farm in the countryside of Washington County, Indiana with our dogs and herd of miniature donkeys.  We enjoy time with our family and friends, fishing, and relaxing around a bonfire.

My wife, Kim, and I both grew up in small communities.  After living from 1989 to 2001 in the Indianapolis area, we decided to relocate to Salem, where I grew up.  For almost 10 years, I represented the interests of insurance companies almost exclusively.  Since moving to Salem, I have phased out of all insurance defense work.  I now represent injured parties and provide legal services and counsel to individuals and small businesses.  This is not a wealthy community like the one I moved from.  But it is our community.  I have found there are far greater rewards in representing real people rather than insurance companies.  Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and freinds, reading, sports, volunteering at my church, and coaching soccer.
