Mr. Green was born in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Green graduated from Brandeis University in Boston with a cum laude degree in American Studies in 1979. Mr. Green graduated Tulane Law School in New Orleans in 1982 and then moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mr. Green was admitted to the New Mexico bar in October, 1982, and the federal bar after going into private practice. Mr. Green began his legal career as the Children’s Court and Child Abuse and Neglect prosecutor in the First Judicial District, Santa Fe, in 1983. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Green decided to open his own law practice, with a focus on personal injury law, consumer law, and family law. Mr. Green closed his law practice in 1992 and focused the next few years on a large real estate project. Mr. Green also began teaching at the Santa Fe Community College and consulting on computers. The real estate project was completed in 1998 and Mr. Green went back to practicing law in 2002. Mr. Green’s current law practice is focused on probate law, personal injury law, consumer law. Mr. Green is a longstanding member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association.
