Jonathan has also served as the Managing Partner of an area development company for a national franchise chain. In this capacity, he was responsible for raising capital and negotiating an agreement with the chain. Jonathan also served as an Associate at the Cleveland law firm of Kahn, Kleinman, Yanowitz and Arnson, a practice nationally recognized for its work with entrepreneurs, private and public companies. While at Kahn, Kleinman, he was responsible for completing the acquisition of a major regional competitor for his public company client, and also the completion of a large private placement for an Internet startup. He was one of the founding members of the firm’s Cyberlaw specialty group.He also worked as a prosecutor in Virginia while in law school, responsible for hundreds of criminal cases. At one point, he was handling the entire misdemeanor docket for the county. Jonathan is a member of the bars of both the District of Columbia and Arizona. Jonathan’s other experiences include working as a food service manager for a regional theme park, campaign manager for several state and federal campaigns, and a professional poker player. He served on the Presidents Council of the Higher Achievement Program and the Public Affairs Committee for the DC Board of Trade. Jonathan graduated from the University of Virginia law school. He and his wife Tara have two young sons, Alexander and Samuel.

Carolyn R. Tatkin brings to the Firm over 25 years of broad legal experience in areas including insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, construction defect litigation, general business and commercial litigation, as well as a concentration in business and consumer bankruptcy law. Her experience includes both trial and appellate work in state and federal courts, encompassing all aspects of motion practice and oral advocacy, including oral arguments before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. Ms. Tatkin has also been a presenter and co-author of materials for several state and county bar sponsored bankruptcy seminars, from basic to more advanced levels of bankruptcy expertise.. Carolyn is originally from Ohio, where she graduated from Ohio State University and Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Her horses are her lifelong hobby and her passion. She lives in Scottsdale with her husband, teenage son and daughter, dogs, cat and horses.
