After spending more than ten years representing clients ranging from individuals and to publically traded companies in complex litigation in both state and federal courts in Washington, Alaska and Oregon, in 1995 I decided to devote my practice to matrimonial law.  Since then I have focused on financial, business and real estate issues in cases involving large or complex estates.  In addition to representing clients in traditional divorce cases, I serve as collaborative law counsel and as a mediator in divorces and other disputes involving matrimonial law issues.. I hold Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory's highest rating, AV Preeminent. Also, I have been named to the Washington Super Lawyers list since 2004, repeatedly being listed repeatedly among the Top 50 Women who are honored annually.. Most of my spare time is spent doing service travel with my son, studying primatology and reading about and visiting Great Apes, notably chimpanzees and gorillas; I enjoy the rare distinction of having been hugged by a wild mountain gorilla.  I also enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
