Nick represents institutional lenders, owners, developers, portfolio managers, tenants and property managers, in various real estate, real estate finance (debt and equity) and commercial finance transactions. Prior to joining Graham & Dunn, Nick was an attorney in the New York office of a large international law firm.

Matt is a partner and a member of Miller Nash Graham & Dunn’s Condemnation, Real Estate and Litigation Teams.  In connection with his active condemnation practice, Matt routinely advises and represents both municipal agencies and property owners regarding both substantive and procedural eminent domain law.  In addition to his substantial experience in condemnation law, Matt is also an active real estate litigator, representing and counseling clients in all aspects of commercial landlord-tenant law, including lease negotiations, disputes, workouts and unlawful detainer actions.. As a proven trial attorney, Matt has considerable experience representing clients in mediations, arbitrations and in trials, including a number of multi-week jury trials.  Matt has tried cases in King, Pierce and Snohomish County Superior Courts, and has successfully argued cases before the Washington State Court of Appeals.  Matt is a frequent speaker on legal issues involving eminent domain law and has served as author and editor for a number of state and national legal treatises on the topic.  Matt was named a "Super Lawyer" in 2013 through 2015 by Washington Super Lawyers Magazine, and a “Rising Star” for Eminent Domain Law in 2012 and 2010 by Washington Law & Politics Magazine.. Marisa is a member of Graham & Dunn’s Condemnation Team.  As part of her real property valuation practice she advises and represents governmental agencies, property owners and lenders involved in condemnation and relocation actions.  Her representation of governmental agencies has included Sound Transit, the Port of Seattle, the City of Everett, the City of Federal Way, the City of Lacey, the City of Olympia, the City of Tumwater, and the Bethel School District.  She also has been involved in attaining favorable verdicts or settlements for property owners, including the condemnation of a major water dependent property, the condemnation of a small shipyard on Bainbridge Island, and the relocation of a former Harbor Island business.. Marisa is also a member of Graham & Dunn’s Real Estate and Litigation Teams.  Her real property litigation practice includes representation of individuals and businesses regarding boundary disputes and landlord-tenant issues, contract and construction disputes, restrictive covenants, land use, and zoning issues.  She also counsels and represents financial institutions and financial services companies in connection with commercial collection actions and lenders’ rights litigation.

I am a transplant from New York.  I attended undergraduate at University of Washington and graduated with a Political Science degree along with a Economics cert. After undergrad, I attended Law School in California. Upon graduation, I returned to the place I love, Seattle!  Today, I live in Seattle with my spouse, two daughters and our maltipoo, Emmitt.
