Dan Brendtro grew up in Lennox, South Dakota on his family's purebred hog farm. He has since strayed from the life of a farmer but cherishes the lifestyle as part of his roots. After graduating high school Daniel went on to Georgetown University where he earned a a B.S.F.S. He then returned to South Dakota and graduated second in his class at the University of South Dakota School of Law.
