The areas of law I concentrate in are intensively focused on relationships — relationships between partners (whether a married couple or co-owners of a business), relationships between family members, and relationships between two or more businesses.  Understanding relationships, both from practical and human perspective and from a legal perspective, allows me to better serve families and businesses in disputes. I have compassion for clients navigating the legalities involved in family issues, and I am currently assisting clients in a wide range of family law matters.  As a business owner myself, I also identify with all local business owners, small and large, and truly aspire to help local businesses build strong foundations, grow, and succeed in their own ventures.

Firm: A Georgia Lawyer Who Is a Doctor, Inc.

Sometimes You Need a Lawyer who IS a Doctor! When the law and medicine collide, no two cases are ever alike, and things can become complicated pretty quickly.. Mitchell S. Nudelman, MD, JD, is residency trained in Family Medicine and licensed to practice both medicine and law. A member of the Georgia Bar in good standing since 1991, Dr. Nudelman holds unrestricted licenses to practice medicine in FL (1986) and GA (1990). He was board certified for more than 30 years.. After more than 25 years predominantly serving defense counsel, insurance carriers, and employers in a wide range of cases involving complex medical-legal matters, Dr. Nudelman now also works for those who are injured like you. His vast experience as an industry insider over the past 30 years has given him a keen insight into how insurance companies work and has helped him to successfully resolve claims before they have to court.. Dr. Nudelman received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Rochester (NY) and did research in RNA tumor virology at the university’s medical school as an undergrad. Studying abroad in Spanish the first two years, but completing all his clincial rotations in the US, he earned his medical degree in 1983. After completing his medical residency in Family Medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware (through the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University), he attended the University of Miami School of Law full-time at night, while practicing medicine during the day.. Something that I have realized after studying and practicing law over the years is that the U.S. is an actively working society. Everything from the Constitution to state laws and even local city standards stem from the promise community members make to not violate each other’s domains. U.S. laws are a safety guard to help guarantee that community members can keep this minimum promise. This means that if you violate laws in the U.S., you are not keeping this promise and you must be sanctioned for your actions. That is why the American jury system, which leaves the judging of the law to the citizens, is a right and duty that is as sacred as the right to vote. Also, this can be why U.S. law enforcement can be strict and harsh.. However, let’s look at it from a different viewpoint. Keeping the minimum promise can also be interpreted to mean honoring each other’s freedoms to the fullest extent. This means that in the U.S., following basic law allows us to have the freedom to not have to dispute everything we do.. The link between guaranteeing freedom and an active society is simple:. 1.       Do not interfere with others;. 2.       But, if someone violates my domain, I have the right to prove the violation; and,. 3.       I can demand rational compensation for the proven violation.. This is a simple logic. This logic may be what allows so many different kinds of people to live without trouble here in the U.S.. For the past 20 years, I have seen many immigrants endure hardships when they were wronged all because of the English-speaking barrier or because of their vague fear of the law. People whose rights have been violated unjustly need to actively fight for their cause and receive due compensation if needed.. I believe that everyone livnig in the U.S. deserves protection through the laws that this country is built on. I sincerely wish I can be a help to lead the charge.

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.  My dad is one of the Vice President's of Penske Truck Leasing and we moved around a lot during and after high school.  I graduated in 1996 from Frisco High School in Frisco, Texas.  I moved to California and went to college at Univeristy of California, Irvine.  After college, I immediately began law school and graduated in 2003 from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA.  While in law school, I focused heavily on my trial advocacy skills.  I worked at both the San Diego Public Defender's office and the San Diego District Attorney's office.  Before graduating law school, I tried two misdemeanor jury trials under the third year practice act.. After graduating, I moved to Las Vegas for me to start my legal career.  I began working for a law firm called Springel and Fink where I immediatley learned how to take and defend depositions as well as mediate very large cases.  I left Springel and Fink to get my trial feet wet and began working at the Clark Couty District Attorney's office.  I tried a lot of felony jury trials from gang related cases to attempted murder and armed robbbery.  I moved back to Atlanta in 2007.. When we moved to Atlanta, I began working for the Jackson County District Attorney's Office.  I specialized in the prosecution of sex-related crimes, including child molestation, rape, and sexual exploitation of children.  In 2009, I was approached by Epps and Pilgrim to join their team and to come out into private practice.. At Epps and Pilgrim, I primarily focused on family law cases.  I specialized in divorce, modification of child custody and support, contempt, legitimation, as well as DFCS cases.  I still keep my hands in the criminal practice, however, I primarily focused on the sex crimes cases.  I practice in Gwinnett, Forsyth, Hall, Dawson, Jackson and Barrow Counties.. In October 2013, my partner Phil Pilgrim and I left Law Offices of Epps and Pilgrim and opened up Carter Pilgrim.  Our office is located in Suwanee, Georgia and we offer services for criminal defense, family law, personal injury and business litigation cases.  We look forward to helping you!. On January 1, 2022, Carter Pilgim merged with Banks Stubbs McFarland.  We are so excited about our new team and are ready to help you with all of your legal needs. Firm: Spooner & Associates, P.C.

At Spooner and Associates, P.C., we put our clients first. Our objective is to efficiently resolve each case with our client's interests at the forefront of every decision. We are a firm of skilled litigators who are aggressive in the courtroom. However, when it is in our client's best interests, we can handle cases through negotiation or methods of alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation.. We help our clients find a solution.. More About Scott:. Scott helps people avoid costly consequences when resolving disputes with a spouse, ex-spouse, or an insurance company. In a divorce, seemingly minor decisions made now may cause problems later. These problems can include obligations for someone else’s debts, loss of your property, or limited rights with your own children. Settling a personal injury case without legal guidance may leave you with an unfair settlement amount or responsibility for repaying your health insurer for your medical expenses. Nobody ever wants to have legal problems, but Scott guides you through the process and explains all your options for achieving the most favorable outcome.. Scott grew up in a small Georgia town where he valued his relationships with others. A “people person” at heart, Scott found that work at large law firms (with correspondingly large caseloads and billable hour requirements) didn’t allow him to provide personalized legal help for his clients. So in 2002, Scott started his law firm in Gwinnett County (Suwanee, Georgia) with a goal of providing individualized legal counsel to clients in all North Metro Atlanta counties. As demand for his personalized legal solutions increased, he grew the firm to include three additional attorneys and a staff of six paralegals and assistants. Everyone at Spooner & Associates, P.C. shares the same philosophy of service to clients. We maintain a selective caseload so that each client receives the attention they deserve.. Scott’s skills and experience are well-suited to assist you with issues involving family law and mediation. Having experienced divorce in his family, he is empathetic to anyone needing Georgia family law services. A skilled negotiator, Scott is an experienced mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and helps resolve legal disputes. He also represents his clients in mediations and may avoid the expense and emotions of a divorce trial. However, if negotiations fail, he is an aggressive litigator when he protects his clients’ rights in a courtroom trial.. Scott enjoys spending time with his family and traveling to historic locations. Gettysburg, PA is a family favorite. Scott also supports youth education and is a member of the Board of Trustees for North Gwinnett Schools Foundation. With his dedication to his clients and family, Scott’s fantasy league baseball team has suffered in recent years.
