I have been an attorney for just over twenty years, all spent practicing criminal law. The first thirteen years of my career were spent as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Cook County State's Attorney's office. During my years as a prosecutor, I became familiar not only with how the ciminal justice system operates, but also how police departments, and the police themselves, operate. This knowledge has served me well in the seven years since that I have been defending clients charged with crimes from speeding to murder.
