As a practicing attorney for over 36 years from a family of four generations of attorneys dating back to 1913, I started my career at Langan Grossman Kinney & Dwyer in Syracuse, New York where I engaged in the general practice of law for 5 years (1982 to 1987).. I then served as an Assistant District Attorney in Onondaga County for 3 years, prosecuting felonies in the Felony Trial Unit, and tried more than 40 jury trials to verdict (1987 to 1989).. After my service in the DA's Office, I then engaged in the general practice of law with Watt Kruttschnitt & Langan for 2 years (1989 to 1991).. In 1991, I joined my father, Anthony J. Langan, at Langan & Langan where we practiced together from 1991 to my father's death in 2009 (1991 to 2009).. From 2009 to 2016, I was engaged in solo practice, practicing in New York and Florida, concentrating in real estate, probate and estate administration.  In 2016, my son Patrick (4th generation attorney) joined my firm and has been practicing with me.
