Tim Lewis joined Puget Law Group in September 2021. Tim is a former prosecutor with nearly 20 years of courtroom experience. He has tried over 100 jury trials involving charges ranging from simple misdemeanors to the most serious felonies.. Tim grew up in a military family before attending the University of Washington and University of Iowa College of Law. After completing law school, Tim began his career as deputy prosecuting attorney. During his career as a prosecutor, Tim served as Team Chief of the Property Crimes Unit, the Fugitive and Extraditions Unit, the Special Assault Unit, Chief of the Misdemeanor Division, and Chief of the Felony Division. Kelly LeBlanc has been practicing law for over 35 years.  She has been admitted to practice in five (5) jurisdictions and appeared on behalf of litigants at the state and federal level.   She served as an Administrative Health Law Judge with the Department of Health and worked as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in Pierce County many years before joining Envision Family Law Group as Senior Counsel.  When the Court was faced with particularly difficult cases, Kelly was often designated to investigate and provide recommendations on how best to protect the interests of the child(ren) involved.. As a GAL, Kelly served as the court’s designated expert in hundreds of cases relating to child custody.  She was routinely subject to cross-examination in contested family law proceedings and experienced trial tactics by dozens of her colleagues both as a witness and advocate.   While serving as a Health Law Judge for the Department of Health, Kelly presided over licensing and disciplinary proceedings involving medical doctors, dentists, therapists and other health care providers facing charges under the Uniform Disciplinary Act.  In this role, Kelly was charged with the responsibility for making evidentiary rulings and ensuring fairness and integrity in conduct of proceedings.. I began my legal career working as a defense attorney for an insurance company. Through taking cases to trial and countless arbitrations, I saw first-hand how insurance companies can quickly lose sight of the human aspect of injury and insurance claims, viewing cases merely as business concerns to be settled cheaply or hard-fought, regardless of cost. Later in my career, I defended insurance companies in bad faith litigation. Currently, I represent injury victims in personal injury, traumatic brain injury, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice, medical device defect, and product liability cases.. Prior to entering law school, I worked as a property and casualty claims adjuster for two national insurers, handling wildfire and mudslide catastrophe claims in California, as well as mid to large loss claims arising from hurricanes in the Southern U.S.. My experience both as a claims adjuster and lawyer taught me that in order to obtain the best settlement, you have to show the insurance company and/or the defense you are willing and prepared to take the case to trial. For this reason, I prepare every case as if it is going to trial from day one.

As the daughter of an attorney, I grew up knowing I too wanted to practice law. I was provided the opportunity to work in my father’s firm starting in junior high school. I quickly came to appreciate and understand the nature of work performed on behalf of individuals who have been injured as a result of the careless and negligent acts of others. Working with these injured individuals and learning how the law could be employed to help those incapable of helping themselves provided the foundation for my legal career.. I graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory High School in Tacoma, Washington and received my undergraduate degree in Business from Loyola University Chicago in Illinois. I graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2012. While at Gonzaga, I was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council and the National Moot Court Team, served as President of Gonzaga Law Association for Justice, as well as a Civil Procedure Tutor, and Student Ambassador.. Following law school I returned to the Tacoma area where I practiced in a personal injury law firm prior to joining Holman Law.
