Professional Experience. Tom’s practice over the past 35 years has been extremely varied.. He’s practiced in complex litigation, hearings and trials in state courts, federal courts, and bankruptcy courts, in private arbitrations, mediations and appeals. He also has substantial experience representing debtors, creditors, trustees and committees in Bankruptcy Court and has successfully reorganized several companies and individuals, and represented creditors.. Tom started his practice in 1981 at Treon, Warnicke, Dann & Roush of Phoenix (after having been a law clerk there for two years) in the commercial practice section, where he was trained in litigation and trial skills by two former Maricopa County Superior Court judges. He started what became a substantial bankruptcy practice in 1982 when he represented Clifford Wolfswinkel in bankruptcy court in his dispute with his brothers. After that, he continued doing work in the bankruptcy court in several commercial cases.. Tom left the Treon firm in 1987 to practice in Chandler as Littler & Miller for a short time before forming Warnicke & Littler, P.L.C. in 1989 to perform the bankruptcy examination of Charlie Keating’s American Continental Corporation.. After twenty three years with his own firm, he joined the Las Vegas firm of Gordon Silver in March of 2010 to open and build its first Arizona office. He left Gordon Silver in August, 2013 to practice as a sole practitioner in order to provide less expensive and more personal service to his clients.. Tom was a judge pro tem of the Maricopa County Superior Court presiding over mediations and jury trials for fifteen years.. --. Personal Life. Tom was born in Buffalo, New York on October 10, 1954. He moved to Phoenix with his family in 1957.  He went to grade school in west Phoenix and graduated from West Phoenix High School in 1972.  He played the drums in both grade school and in the marching band at West High.  Tom obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in General Business Administration from the ASU College of Business in 1978 and graduated from the Arizona State University School of Law in 1981.  In law school he was on the Moot Court Board, was a member of the Order of the Coif, and participated every year as a writer and actor in the annual Law Follies. Tom now resides in Tempe.. Tom is married and has three children. His daughter, who graduated from the University of Southern California (English; Creative Writing) and Kings College, London (English Literature) is an editor at St. Martin’s Press in New York City; his son graduated from New York University (Dramatic Writing) and is a writer-producer living in New York City. His fourteen-year-old daughter was adopted from China and attends Basis Ahwatukee.. In his free time, Tom runs half marathons (ten so far), plays the drums (drum set in the basement), reads all kinds of literature – especially biographies, history and politics – and travels the world.

Tamera is on the Advisory Council and is Chair-Emeritus for the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation (AFFCF) after serving as a Director for 20 years, Board Chair for three years, and 18 years as the Scholarship Program Chair for AFFCF. Since its inception in 2012, Tamera has served as a Community Advisor on the Fostering Advocates Arizona (formerly Arizona Youth Opportunities Initiative). She served on the State of Arizona’s Foster Care Review Board from 1993-1996. Tamera (Arapaho) was one of the founding directors of the Inter-Tribal, Native American Communications Council, established in 1993. Tamera worked directly with Senator Ted Kennedy on the drafting of the “Torture Victims Protection Act.”. Tamera is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (1994) in Washington D.C., where she served as the Senior Editor on the Law Center’s Legal Journal: Law & Policy in International Business. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California (1984) where she majored in International Relations. Tamera is admitted to practice in state, federal and Tribal courts in Arizona: Hopi, Pascua Yaqui, Gila River Indian Community, and Tohono O’odham Tribal Courts; and admitted before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
