I have been a practicing attorney and labor & employment consultant for over 25 years.  I began my career in Albuquerque, New Mexico  where I represented employers in state and federal court litigation.  In addition to trial work, I was introduced to "pure labor" relations where I regularly represented employers in collective bargaining negotiations, grievance/arbitration matters and administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies including the National Labor Relations Board.. I returned to California in 1997 where I continue to represent employers of all sizes in virtually every type of industry including: utilities, banking, retail, trucking, healthcare, professional services, hospitality, and law enforcement.  I serve as outside General Counsel to many of my clients where I assist with corporate governance, monitoring of litigation and risk management in addition to labor & employment matters.. I frequently speak on labor & employment developments for various organizations and I enjoy providing workplace training in areas such as: AB 1825 (Workplace Harassment); Effective Discipline; and, Employment Audits.

I am associate attorney at Eskridge Law in Torrance, California.  We specialize in employment, business, and real estate legal matters.. I attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Anthropology.  I was among the top ranked students in my class at UCLA, graduating with summa cum laude honors.  I was on the Dean’s List every quarter, received College and Departmental Honors, and was awarded the Liza Mederos Memorial Award for Excellence in Research for my senior thesis.. I received my Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola Law School.  My legal studies were distinguished by high grades in Legal Drafting, Trial Advocacy, Business Planning and Venture Capital Financing, and Remedies.  While in law school, I served as Chief Note and Comment Editor of the Entertainment Law Review and clerked for the Honorable Christina A. Snyder in the United States District Court.  I also authored portions of a published legal treatise on California community property law.  In addition to these activities, I served as an Office of Admissions Student Host, Academic Support Program Mentor, Income Tax Assistance Program Volunteer, and was a member of the Women’s Law Association and Real Estate Law Society.  During my second and third years in law school, I gained significant legal experience working for a civil litigation firm in Redondo Beach.  Prior to joining Eskridge Law, I worked as an associate practicing labor and employment litigation at a boutique West Los Angeles firm, where I gained both state and federal courtroom experience as well as practiced at the appellate level.. I iam admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  I am a member of the California State Bar Labor & Employment Law and Litigation Sections.  I am also an active member of the South Bay Bar Association and Bruin Professionals.. Prior to attending law school, I was a licensed real estate agent and mortgage loan consultant.  I am a South Bay native from San Pedro and currently reside in Rancho Palos Verdes with my husband and daughter.  Aside from practicing law, I enjoy musical theater, a good game of poker, and going to Disneyland.
