My experience in family law began in law school when I clerked for a prominent family law attorney in Detroit.  I gained valuable experience before I even took the bar exam.  After law school, I immediately started practicing family law and have been doing so ever since.  I am active in the family law community as I currently serve on the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Council.  In the past I have chaired my local Family Court Committee and I volunteer to help low income family law clients.  This involvement keeps me updated on recent changes in the law, often before many of my collegues. I am a certified Domestic Relation Mediator appointed by local courts to help litigants resolve their family law cases prior to trial.
