As a family law or, as I prefer, "divorce attorney," I tend to handle higher conflict cases, but am always happy to assist in drafting agreements in amicable cases as well. I do, in fact, work to settle even difficult cases by agreement. That, if it can be done, usually leads to better results than anything a judge will do after trial. That said, an agreement is not always possible. I know it is shocking to hear, but sometimes you do have to fight when getting divorced. That is most of what I do.
