Mr. Penland is an experienced litigator and active trial attorney with over forty years of continuous practice who has handled hundreds of complex civil litigation matters, including jury trials, bench trials, appeals, and complex negotiations since 1975. I grew up in Macon, Georgia where I attended Central High School.  I then attended the University of Florida.  I came back to Georgia to attend law school at Mercer University.. I began practicing law in 2006.  I was an assistant public defender until 2018.  I managed my own firm until 2020.  Now, I am with Johnson Trial Law.. I enjoy courtroom work.  I enjoy representing clients and obtaining positive outcomes in their cases.
