Stephanie L. Maddox received her Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2015, graduating cum laude. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2009, making the Dean’s List in her final two semesters. While in law school, Ms. Maddox focused on criminal law and obtained her Certificate of Concentration in Criminal Practice.. Ms. Maddox interned for the Office of the Public Defender for Baltimore City, Misdemeanor Jury Trial Division, in the summer following her first year of law school. She later interned for the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City, Major Investigations Division, from fall semester as a second year law student until she graduated in 2015. As a third year law student, Ms. Maddox practiced as a Maryland Rule 16 Attorney with the Office of the Public Defender for Baltimore County in the Juvenile Division. Seun Williams is a former Assistant State’s Attorney with the Office of the State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County, who litigated over thirty-one (31) jury trials ranging from misdemeanor offenses to serious felonies such as attempted murders. He obtained his B.S. degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2007, and obtained his J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2011.. Seun began his career in law as a legal intern with the State’s Attorney’s Office, assumed the role of diversion coordinator after completing law school, and was subsequently promoted to a senior prosecutor in District Court and in the Juvenile Division.
