I am a litigation attorney with 13 years of experience in both civilian and military law, including over 30 trials and 150 appeals. I currently serve as the senior legal advisor to the Honorable Charles E. Erdmann, Chief Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.  The Court is a civilian federal court established under Article I of the United States Constitution, which regularly interprets federal statutes, executive orders, departmental regulations, and the applicability of constitutional provisions to members of the armed forces.  In 1983, Congress authorized direct appeal to the Supreme Court except for cases involving denial of a petition for discretionary review.Prior to my position with the Chief Judge, I served eight years in the United States Air Force.  During that time, I practiced law worldwide and was honored to be consistently ranked as one of the best trial litigators in the Air Force and recognized as the top Appellate Defense Counsel.
