In that capacity, I handled all types of criminal cases including DUIs, drugs, sex offenses, white collar crimes and crimes of violence including homicide. In 1993, I went into private practice and became a partner at Noonan, Perrillo and Polenzani where I practiced in both criminal and civil litigation. In 2013, I became a partner at Fox, Lunardi, Zeit & Polenzani, a preeminent Lake County litigation firm.. I am a father of two and past school board president, as well as a former youth football coach. I continue to serve as the Waukegan Teen Court Judge, a volunteer position which I have held for over 10 years.. Since 2010, I have been the co-chair of the "Breast Fest" fundraising concert supporting the Avon Breast Cancer Walk and am a member of the Breast Fest of Champions fundraising team.

David S. Weinstein was born in Chicago, illinois in 1965.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Indiana University in 1988, and received his Juris Doctor degree fro the University of Miami School of Law in 1991..
