Theresa Laughlin joined the firm in 2008 after working as an advocate for injured people since completing law school.  Her practice focuses on claims involving motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, falls, medical malpractice, and other personal injuries.. Theresa’s representation of plaintiffs in trial courts across Wisconsin earned her certification as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She is one of only eight women in Wisconsin who currently carry this distinction. Theresa is active in the Wisconsin Association for Justice, currently serving on its Board of Directors and frequently speaking at seminars. She has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer since 2014, and was named to the Top 25 Women Wisconsin Super Lawyers list 2016-2017.  She is also a Fellow with the Wisconsin Law Foundation, which recognizes lawyers who are known by their peers for high achievements in the profession and outstanding contributions for the advancement and improvement of the administration of justice in the State of Wisconsin.. Theresa is on the Board of Directors of the Central Wisconsin Children’s Theater and volunteers at Chism Trail Ranch in Merrill.  She was previously on the board at the Montessori School of Wausau and a PTO co-president at Stettin Elementary School.. Theresa graduated with her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992 and in 1995 she received her J.D. A native of Wausau, Theresa is an avid, albeit beginning, downhill skier who will often visit Granite Peak for a couple runs over her lunch break. She enjoys gardening, reading, theater, horseback riding, travel, and the many recreational opportunities available on the lakes of Wisconsin’s Northwoods. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, and three horses.

Nathaniel Krautkramer has practiced law in Wausau, Wisconsin for over 14 years. While in law school, Karry served as a summer extern (1999) to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5, Chicago, Illinois, working directly with Deputy Regional Counsel, Bertram C. Frey. As a result of her externship, she co-authored a comprehensive article with Mr. Frey which was published on the Region 5 website and cited in other written works.. Karry is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the State Bar of Colorado. She is a member and past president of the Douglas County Bar Association and member of the Lincoln County and Marathon County bar associations. In her free time, she enjoys photography, running, cycling, spending time with her family and being involved with the local high school mock trial team.

Alan grew up in Edgar, Wisconsin.  He attended undergraduate school in Madison, Wisconsin, and worked as a forklift driver and a textbook salesman in Texas between semesters to pay for school.  After graduating cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, Alan returned to the Wausau area and set up practice in the areas of Estate Planning and Business Law.  Alan has been practicing law in the Wausau area for over fifteen years.. Alan currently resides in Wausau with his wife and two young children.  He is passionate about educating the community and assisting families in protecting their legacies.
