I clearly remember the long and heartbreaking journey of entering and remaining in this country and I have nothing but compassion for those going through that journey.. I grew up on the border, in El Paso, Texas. There, I witnessed firsthand the injustices resulting from a complicated and unfair immigration system. This inspired me to pursue a career in law. After acquiring a finance degree from the University of Texas in El Paso, I pursued my dream of going to law school and becoming an immigration attorney.. Since graduating from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, I have dedicated my career to doing humanitarian work and to helping those who usually don’t have a voice. It is an honor to be able to help not only my Mexican people but people from all over the world.
