I made a decision 24 years ago following an internship with the Dade County State's Attorney's Office in Miami that following my graduation from Law School that I would devote all of my practice to criminal defense.   My father thought I was crazy and never thought I could sustain a practice like that but following my appearance on the O'Reilly Factor in September of 2003 for a racial-profiling case that received national attention, he looked at me and for the first time in his life, told me he was wrong..
