Jameel S. Williams was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where he attended Cleveland State University and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He chose Michigan as his home and graduated Cum-Laude from Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School in Lansing.

I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from an ABA approved program, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Thereafter, I graduated from WMU Cooley Law School in 2019 with a Juris Doctor degree. I passed the Michigan Bar Exam in 2020. I am currently an associate attorney at Babut Law Offices, PLLC, where I help Michigan residents be relieved of their debt by filing for Bankruptcy or Social Security Disability. I am currently admitted to practice before the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Michigan.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York, I moved to Michigan in 1978 to attend Eastern Michigan University. I graduated in 1982 with a BA in Accounting and Business Management. Thereafter, I took and passed the CPA exam, becoming a Certified Public Accountant. In 1985, I attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated with my Juris Doctorate in 1987. In 1991, I went into private practice and opened Babut Law Offices, PLLC.
