A graduate of the Santa Barbara College of Law, she not only earned her Juris Doctorate of Law, but also won the Witkin Legal Institute Award for Academic Excellence.. Previously studying at UCSB and the California State University of Bakersfield, Alicia also holds an MBA in addition to her JD and in her spare time works as an Adjunct Professor of Business Management and Business Law for Santa Barbara City College.. With background as a Legal Assistant for three different law offices, fluency in English and Spanish, in addition to knowledge of French and Italian, Alicia brings a wealth of skills and experience to our firm and our clients.

Born and raised in southern California, Carolyn has always had a strong sense of justice and a passion for advocacy. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz, Carolyn joined the Teach for America program and taught high school in the underserved community of Richmond, California. She then attended Georgetown Law School in Washington, D.C. where, among other endeavors, Carolyn was a member of the Wrongful Conviction clinic and worked as a research assistant for the Street Law clinic. Now back home in sunny California, Carolyn is devoted to fighting for the rights of clients at the Law Offices of Daniel K. Simon and ensuring that the best possible outcome is achieved for each case.
