My approach to litigation is practical and efficient. I understand the financial and emotional costs of litigation and strive to minimize those costs while achieving a beneficial outcome. I have a friendly and engaging demeanor that generally leads to a satisfactory resolution of a problem. However, when faced with an intractable or unreasonable opponent, my competitive instincts come out and I am unsatisfied with any outcome short of victory. I have had an incredible run of success at OKGC. I have resolved and settled hundreds of disputes either without the need for litigation or during the early stages of litigation. However, when settlement proves to be impossible or impractical, I do not hesitate to take a case to trial and I've won every case I've tried at OKGC.. In my free time I enjoy  biking, hiking, kayaking and skiing. I am an avid basketball and softball player as well. I volunteer regularly with Adaptive Adventures, an organization that enables and helps individuals with physical disabilities to participate in active sports such as kayaking, skiing and biking.  I also spend every other year in Guatemala, where I teach school age kids english.. I reside in Northbrook with my wife and two children.

I received my Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University in 2007, graduating cum laude. I joined the Erickson, Davis, Murphy, Johnson & Walsh, Ltd. Law Firm in 2007. I completed his undergraduate degree in History and Political Science at the University of Illinois, graduating in 2004. I have a varied practice, with an emphasis on business planning and litigation, probate and estate planning and litigation, and civil litigation. I also engage in all aspects of the general practice of law.  I am admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois, the State of Colorado, and the Federal District Court for the Central District of Illinois. I am a member of the Illinois Bar Association and Decatur Bar Association.
