Mary Lisa began her years of higher education studying philosophy at Baylor. She credits this foundation for her interest and tactical views at problem-solving. Following undergrad, Mary Lisa attended law school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas on a full Regent’s Scholarship. During law school, she was an Articles Editor on the Administrative Law Journal and president of the Student Public Interest Initiative, an organization which helped raise money for law students to work in public interest and legal aid. Mary Lisa worked as a student attorney in the Family Law Clinic representing clients in family and social security matters. Also, she interned with Disability Rights Texas and several private firms.. At Rosenblatt Law Firm Mary Lisa predominantly handles transactional matters. Her expertise is in drafting individual contracts tailored to her client’s needs. In particular, Mary Lisa frequently works on the transactional side of employment matters–making sure her clients are hiring, firing, and maintaining employees in order to protect their assets and minimize litigation.

Eric is an attorney with a license to practice in the State of Texas.  He is also a fully registered and licensed patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Before opening his own practice, he developed legal experience working for small and mid-sized law firms which primarily focused on business and intellectual property.  Eric brings experience to patent and trademark prosecution (drafting, searching, filing).  He is equally experienced in contract formation, review, and modification.  Above all else, he is a proud father and a hardworking husband who values his family.. Eric graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law, where he focused his studies for a career in intellectual property law.  While a student there he was a member of and later became the president of the Technology & Intellectual Property Law Association (a student interest group).  Despite the rigors of law school, he found time to volunteer as an income tax preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to serve the local community.  Also while still a law student, Eric interned at the University of Texas at San Antonio Office of Commercialization and Innovation, which manages the university's intellectual property development.  Afterwards, he accepted a position as a legal clerk doing research, review, and drafting of legal documents for an established IP boutique law firm.  He worked there until the birth of his daughter, choosing to focus on completing law school and being a father.. Prior to his legal career, Eric was first and foremost a scientist.  Upon graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, he worked for Southwest Research Institute, (San Antonio, Texas) as a project specific research scientist.  In that time he worked on many highly technical projects in various capacities including researcher, author, and plant operator.. Louis is a general practice, transactional, and litigation Attorney.. He has been an attorney practicing civil law since 1999. As a solo attorney, he manages all aspects of private practice, from client acquisition to final case resolution. He advises corporate and individual clients on a wide variety of corporate transactional and litigation matters, and has appeared in both State and Federal courts. Louis has represented corporate clients as in-house counsel and as outside counsel. He has more than 170 hours in mediation, negotiation and dispute resolution training.. Before becoming an attorney, Louis worked in the engineering and construction industry for 13 years.
