In addition to practicing law I have been involved in teaching law on a part-time,  adjunct basis.  I taught Business Law for accountants at Canisius College from 1983 to 1988. I also taught a course in Business Ethics in the MBA program. In 2008 I participated in a program through the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria, to teach law at an eastern European law school. I accepted an apppointment and taught an introductory course in American Business Law in Poland at Szczecin University during April, 2008.. I have also participated in entrepreneur workshops sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration ("SBA") and  Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) in Western New York since 1981.  Through this program I have given more than 250 presentations during the last 27 years on legal issues affecting start-ups.

Diane R. Tiveron has practiced corporate and business law since admission to the New York State Bar in 1990. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and her B.A. in economics and political science from Canisius College, magna cum laude. Recently, in continuing her education, she has successfully completed her . Certificate through Canisius College.. Ms. Tiveron has been with the firm for over twenty-seven years. In partnership with our Litigation Department, Ms. Tiveron engages in civil litigation in all courts in Western New York with regard to commercial issues such as breach of contract, fraud, collections, foreclosure and business disputes. She coordinates the firm’s per diem assistance to law firms and attorneys outside the area.. Ms. Tiveron has been voted an Upstate New York "Super Lawyer" in the areas of Business/Corporate Law and Business Litigation every year since 2007.
