Tricia B. O’Reilly is an accomplished litigator and trial attorney with more than twenty years of experience in the fields of commercial litigation, employment law, and internal investigations. As a commercial litigator, Tricia has assisted clients across a broad range of industries in matters involving commercial contract disputes, shareholder oppression, unfair competition, fraudulent business practices claims, intellectual property, and antitrust litigation, and in defending complex, putative class actions. She has represented clients in state and federal courts.. In her employment practice, Tricia specializes in the representation of management in employment disputes and has conducted dozens of internal investigations for major corporations, educational institutions, and privately held businesses.  She has litigated cases in federal and state courts involving claims for wrongful discharge, breach of employment contracts, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, alleged discrimination and retaliation under state and federal anti-discrimination, and whistleblower statutes.  Tricia has tried numerous cases to jury verdict.. Tricia also has a depth of experience in representing institutions of higher education across a broad range of issues, including investigating Title IX complaints and defending against Title IX claims.. Before entering practice as an attorney, Tricia served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nicholas H. Politan, former United States District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey. Mr. Caccavale graduated from Rutgers University with a Master of Business Administration (concentrating in finance). He graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law with a J.D. and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in 1990; and the Florida Bar in 2007.. Mr. Caccavale’s business background includes employment as a financial analyst for corporate executive management for a national corporation, and as a product development financial analyst for a retail management consulting company. He also worked in the accounting field with a national accounting firm in the areas of estate and trust administration and taxation. Mr. Caccavale has also served as a financial consultant to the Rutgers University Small Business Development Center in Newark, New Jersey.. Mr. Caccavale began his legal career at Horn, Kaplan, Goldberg, Gorny, and Daniels, PA in Atlantic City, New Jersey in the firm’s commercial transaction department. He represented debtors, creditors, and creditor committees through bankruptcy reorganizations and receivership proceedings with LaPenna, Teitelbaum & Caccavale, P.C. in Clifton, New Jersey.
