I am a dog-loving transplant from California who absolutely adores the Pacific Northwest!  I moved to Olympia in 2004 to marry my law-school sweetheart who was a partner in a law firm in Olympia.. I graduated magna cum laude and phi beta kappa, from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Geology and received her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School (formerly Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College). I am an active member of the Washington State Bar, and an inactive member of the California State Bar.. I have significant commercial and bankruptcy experience. I spent two years as an office manager/firm administrator at a small law firm and more than two years as a vendor contract manager for Western Institutional Review Board, Inc.. I spent the year and a half after I passed the bar in Washington State as an attorney/law clerk for a Chapter 7 trustee where I learned about a wide variety of bankruptcy matters.  In June 2017, I opened Deschutes Law Group in order to assist small businesses and personal clients with commercial and bankruptcy matters.

James R. Waite, is an internationally recognized corporate and commercial equipment leasing attorney with over 25 years of experience. A Colorado native, Chris Tzortzis was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins where he received his B.A. in Spanish, International Affairs, and a minor in Business. After his studies in Fort Collins, Chris moved to Akron, Ohio to pursue his law degree at the University of Akron, School of Law. While in Akron, Chris gained exposure to the transactional practice of law at the law school's legal business clinic where he advised local start-ups, non-profits, and small businesses in a variety of industries.
