Joseph M. Kirchgessner, a Fredericksburg area native, joined the team at Woehrle Dahlberg Jones Yao PLLC in the Spring of 2015.. After graduating from Courtland High School in 2005, Mr. Kirchgessner went on to attend Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA.  He graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in History.  Following a sixth summer of coaching a local swim team, he then worked for a small law firm in Fredericksburg, VA that focused on workers’ compensation cases for about two years before attending law school.. Mr. Kirchgessner attended St. Louis University School of Law and graduated in the Spring of 2014 with a concentration in Labor and Employment Studies.. His legal studies concluded with a full-time, semester-long externship in Washington, D.C. working at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).  While there, Mr. Kirchgessner filled many roles, but mostly wrote appellate decisions for the Office of Federal Operations, a section of the EEOC that exclusively handles claims of employment discrimination in the federal sector.. Upon passing the Virginia bar, Mr. Kirchgessner immediately began working at a boutique employment law firm in Washington, D.C. that advised and represented federal and District of Columbia employees throughout the EEO process and other employment matters.. Jessica M. Cotter attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law while she worked as an intern for the Family Law Facilitators Office which she gained experience in Child Support and Child Support Enforcement. Upon graduation, she relocated to Glendale, Arizona. Ms. Cotter became a licensed attorney is 2003 and has been practicing since 2003 with her primary focus being family law. She has extensive experience in Title I-VD Child support matters as well as addressing issues involving the Soldiers and Sailors Act. Ms. Cotter is a mediator at the courts specific request, addressing custody and parenting issues. Jessica has received several awards including the Top Pro Bono Attorney award in 2007 and also Attorney of the Month award in November of 2006. Jessica currently practices at her own firm which she started in August 2007.

Falynn currently resides in North Scottsdale with her husband, and two sons.  Before attending law school at Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island, Falynn obtained her bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University and completed her thesis on The Unsolved Murders of Juarez, Mexico from the Barrett Honors College.  Outside of work Falynn enjoys running, reading, food/wine and spending time with her boys.

In addition to running my law practice I am a docent volunteer at the Arizona Humane Society and enjoy walking and showing dogs off to potential adopters on the weekends.  Although I enjoy practicing family law, there is no better feeling than helping a homeless animal find its forever home.  Save a life - adopt a shelter pet!
