I am a Northern Kentucky native who graduated from Cooper High School in Union, KY in 2011. From there, I attended Thomas More College and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2015. Afterwards, I attended Northern Kentucky University’s Chase College of Law & graduated in 2018. I am a member of the Kentucky Bar Association as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.. My professional background includes experience in not only family law, but criminal law and personal injury, making me a well-rounded young professional. I began my career as an assistant prosecutor in my home county of Boone where I gained extensive experience prosecuting a dependency, neglect and abuse docket. Additionally, I handled child support cases & criminal cases involving traffic infractions and misdemeanor offenses.. I began my private practice career in October of 2021, where I was exposed to felony criminal cases and personal injury cases while continuing to build my experience in family law. This allowed me to further diversify my background, making me eager to cultivate my own practice, one that would allow me to offer my compassion and talents to my clients and community.

I was a phychology major in my undergraduate studies.  I enjoy helping people through tough times in their lives, such as divorce and custody disputes.  The transactional nature of real estate and estate planning is a nice mix, since family law cases can be very emotional.  Also, my real estate background is helpful in divorce cases, since real estate is often a major asset in divorces.  I pride myself on giving my clients the individual attention that they deserve and on applying nearly 20 years of experience to their case to ensure the best possible results.

After being a felony prosecutor for over six years, I have decided to use my skills and knowledge of criminal law to help people obtain the best possible outcomes when they find themselves in trouble with the law. In my last position I prosecuted narcotics crimes and prescription fraud exclusively for four years, and for the last 2 and half years I prosecuted everything from theft, arson, robbery and murder. My family and I have lived in Louisville, Kentucky our whole lives. Even when I was away in Atlanta at the country's 30th best law school in the country, I was an always a proud Louisvillian. I attended the University of Louisville on a full academic scholarship and continue to contribute as a volunteer there when the opportunity arises.. For more than a decade I have focused my practice on all areas of Domestic relations law including divorce, child custody and visitation, domestic violence, adoption, dependency, abuse and neglect, and termination of parental rights. After graduating from law school I went into private practice with my father where I honed my skills in the domestic relations practice for more than 14 years prior to joining Rendigs.. When not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three kids. On the weekends I enjoy going for long runs and cooking dinner for friends and family. When I am not attending the numerous sporting events of each of our three children, you can usually find me reading a great novel or cookbook.
