Katie completed her undergraduate education in 2004 at New York University where she graduated cum laude. Katie then went on to the prestigious Northwestern University School of Law. It was here that Katie learned, while working on death penalty cases, that the client is the most important focus in each and every case.. After graduating cum laude from Northwestern Law, she continued developing her practice at the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office.
