I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1994 and received a JD from Ohio Northern Claude W Petit School of Law in 1998.  I was licensed to practice in Fall on 1998, worked for Clyde ‘Scutter’ Dunn in Newport, Tennessee, for a couple of years until I started a solo practice in January 2001. I took a brief hiatus from full time law practice while I owned and ran businesses in Gatlinburg. Upon my return to full time practice, I discovered a passion for Criminal Defense and devote much of my practice to this. I am a Rule 31 Listed Family and Civil Mediator and Bankruptcy Practitioner (Chapter 7).  I still enjoy General Practice as it adds variety and diversity to what I do.
