Tyler Perkins Simmers was born in Winchester, Virginia and has lived in the Winchester area for nearly his entire life.. Tyler graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Shenandoah University in 2013. After graduating from Shenandoah, Tyler earned his Juris Doctorate from Charlotte School of Law in 2016, graduating cum laude and earning the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Family Law..
