Hi. My name is Brent Del Gaizo. I have been practicing law down here in South Florida for over 17 years. While I was born in Green Bay, WI, I have lived in Florida for most of my life (with those years spent both in Broward County and in Gainesville), and my family is originally from Boston. Prior to Law School, I spent many years working in the Service Industry (as a cook, and server), and I feel truly terrible about the harm that the pandemic has caused to all the people working in that field. While going to Law School, I worked both as a Law Clerk, and also as a Certified Legal Intern (having been approved by the Florida Supreme Court). After graduating from Law School cum laude, I started my career at the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, where I spent nearly every day (over the course of several years) inside of a courtroom defending people who had been arrested. I then spent time working as an Associate at private Law Frims, concentrating on Civl Law, Mortgage Foreclosures, Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury, and Medical Malpractice. In 2006, I decided that the time was right to open up my own Law Frim (Law Offices of Brent Del Gaizo, P.A.), and I haven't looked back since. I am a big fan of the Florida Gators, watching football, the Rolling Stones, Casablanca, Pulp Fiction, animals, and Godzilla.

Gena Cohen was an Assistant State Attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Broward County, Florida, for almost ten years. She spent half of her years as a prosecutor as a Supervising Assistant State Attorney for the Juvenile Division of the Broward State Attorney’s office.. Mrs. Cohen received her Juris Doctorate (‘02) from the Nova University Law Center, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations (’99) from Boston University, in Boston, Massachusetts. Mrs. Cohen tried numerous jury trial cases including aggravated battery, battery on a law enforcement officer, battery on a school board employee, grand theft, grand theft auto, burglary, and driving under the influence cases. Additionally, Mrs. Cohen has supervised hundreds of trials and motions. Mrs. Cohen was responsible for training new attorneys straight out of law school. Mrs. Cohen handled all first degree felonies including sexual batteries, arson, and bomb cases.. Since entering private practice, Mrs. Cohen is assisting the attorneys of Abramowitz, Pomerantz & Coffey and her clients in obtaining fair compensation for their injuries.. Mrs. Cohen focuses her practice in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, car accidents and wrongful death.

Carol “Jodie” Breece is currently in private practice, with a concentration in white collar criminal defense and the defense of professionals and businesses in civil litigation.. She was the Chief Assistant Statewide Prosecutor for Miami for eight years, and prosecuted for the Office of Statewide Prosecution and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office for a total of seventeen (17) years.. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Maryland and graduated from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 1990..
